Q1: What is OH Card?
A1: OH Card is a set of metaphoric and associative cards created collaboratively by Moritz Egetmeyer, a German humanistic psychology master, and Ely Raman, a Mexican artist. It is a unique game-like tool. They are designed to increase intuition, imagination, insight and inner vision. With 88 pictures and 88 words, 7744 combinations are possible. They are currently printed in 28 languages. Coach Yunnie uses both Chinese and English version of the OH Card. OH means surprise!
Q2: Do we meet in person or on the internet?
A2: We meet online using Zoom.
Q3: Are there different kinds of OH cards?
A3: Yes, OH cards are also known as basic cards. The original OH cards are the most classic in the OH card family. In addition to the basic cards, there are other cards like Inuk, Cope, Tandoo, Resilio, Persona, Personita, Ecco, Mythos, Shen Hua, and more. Each card has its unique uses, and Coach Yunnie often combines them for various purposes.
Q4: What do I do during an OH Card reading session?
A4: OH Cards are like a mirror. You just need to keep an open mind and use this "mirror" to notice and understand your own thinking. It's not like tarot cards where each card has a specific meaning. Since there's no official explanation, you can decide what each card means to you, and others must respect your view.
Q5: How do I know if I am connected?
A5: Coach Yunnie asks skillful questions. You can relax and let your thoughts flow naturally. When you feel at ease answering questions and freely expressing your thoughts, you've experienced the charm of OH Cards, finding the answers you seek.
Q6: What if I can't read any of the cards?
A6: Coach Yunnie is an experienced life coach with excellent counselling skills. With her expertise in listening and questioning, none of her clients has had trouble reading their cards. OH Cards resonate with a powerful concept called "本自具足," which means innate completeness. It's about recognising that within each of us lies a wellspring of wisdom and liberation, a wholeness that needs no external validation. We know ourselves best; we might only need assistance in uncovering this self-knowledge.
Q7: What is life coaching? Why do I need it if I'm already okay?
A7: Like having a fitness or health coach, life coaching helps you reach your full potential, achieve goals, and navigate life changes. Even if you feel fine, a life coach offers insights, guidance, and support for personal and professional growth.
Q8: I don't believe in tarot cards. Can I still do OH Card reading?
A8: Absolutely! OH Cards are about psychology, not mystery. In tarot readings, the tarot reader has the final say on card meanings. In OH Card sessions, the coach simply asks questions, helping you explore your inner self. The answers come from your own thoughts.
Q9: Do I have to be religious for OH Card reading?
A9: Not at all. Coach Yunnie has no religious ties and respects all beliefs. OH Card reading focuses on psychology, providing an inclusive, non-religious way for self-reflection and personal insight.
