Conversation between Scissors, Paper and Stone
Scissors, Paper, and Stone were three best friends who lived with a kind old man. The old man often took them on trips up the mountain to pick wild fruits, but when it was time to go back, he would leave them to find their own way home.
One day, after gathering fruit, the old man did it again. He went down the mountain without them, leaving Scissors, Paper, and Stone to figure out how to get home by themselves. The three friends were puzzled and a bit worried. Why did the old man keep leaving them behind? They wanted to go home too!
Stone, who was sturdy and tough, spoke up first. “I can roll down the mountain quickly,” he said.
Paper, always flexible and adaptable, added, “I can wrap around you, Stone, to make sure you roll smoothly.”
Scissors, sharp and resourceful, chimed in, “And I can cut through anything that gets in our way to keep our path clear.”
They had good ideas, but none of them could make it down the mountain alone. They needed a plan to work together.
Scissors came up with a clever idea. “Why don’t we combine our strengths?” he suggested. Stone and Paper agreed that it was worth a try. Scissors cut a strip of Paper and wrapped it securely around Stone, creating a smooth surface for him to roll on. Then, Scissors carefully attached itself to the Paper.
With everything set, Stone, Paper, and Scissors began their journey down the mountain. Stone rolled along, carrying Paper and Scissors with him. When they came across obstacles, Scissors would cut through them, clearing the way for a smoother ride. It wasn’t always easy, but together, they made steady progress.
In no time, Scissors, Paper, and Stone reached the bottom of the mountain and returned home safely. The old man was delighted to see them. He praised them, saying, “You are so smart! You understand the power of teamwork! When we work together, we can overcome any challenge and reach our goals.”
The old man was right. Scissors, Paper, and Stone had shown that teamwork makes everything easier. Each friend used their unique abilities to help the group succeed. It was a valuable lesson that applies to all of us: when we work as a team, we can accomplish more than we can on our own.

Lost Bunny Finds Help
Once upon a time, in a big, thick forest, a little bunny got lost and couldn't figure out how to get out. It wandered around all by itself, hopping among the trees until it spotted a friendly squirrel jumping from branch to branch.
Feeling worried, the bunny asked, "Excuse me, how do I leave this forest?" The squirrel kindly pointed in a direction, and the bunny followed that way. But no matter how hard it tried, the bunny couldn't escape the dense trees.
Not giving up, the bunny kept looking and met a smart monkey. Again, it asked, "Excuse me, how do I get out of this forest?" The monkey pointed in another direction, and the bunny followed that way. Unfortunately, it still couldn't find the path to the outside.
Finally, the bunny reached the riverbank, feeling thirsty and tired. There, it saw a calm mother cow peacefully munching on grass. Without thinking twice, the bunny asked, "Excuse me, do you know how to leave this forest?" The mother cow glanced at the bunny and said with a smile, "Hop on, I'll take you out of the forest."
Excitedly, the bunny hopped onto the broad back of the mother cow. From that moment on, it followed the mother cow through the woods, across the streams, and finally succeeded in leaving the dense forest.
This story teaches us that when we have problems, it's okay to ask for help. The bunny's adventure shows that seeking help is the first step to solving problems. There could be plenty of people around us ready to help, but some might only provide a direction, and the ones truly willing to offer all-encompassing help might not be so many.
The bunny eventually found a kind teacher in the mother cow, just like I found "Teacher Huang Youyi." This story also inspires us not only to be thankful for help but also to be the person who helps others when they're in trouble. In life, by supporting and caring for each other, we can all move towards a happier future.
Coffee's Wisdom: The Key to Breaking the Maze
Once upon a hot summer day, a young guy named Jack sat in a cozy café, feeling like he was stuck in a never-ending boring routine. He sipped his coffee and scrolled through his phone, feeling like he was going nowhere.
Sitting nearby was an old man who noticed Jack's gloomy face. The old man had an idea. He ordered three different coffees and put them in front of Jack.
Jack looked puzzled, wondering what this stranger was up to. The old man smiled and said, "Hey, life's a bit like coffee. It's full of choices and surprises. Look at these three cups. Each one's different. They represent different experiences. All you gotta do is pick one and taste something new."
Jack thought for a moment, then picked one of the cups and took a sip. He tasted the bitterness and richness, and it made him realize that life could be as diverse as these coffees.
The old man encouraged him, "Now, try another cup." Jack chose another coffee, and this time, it had a different flavour and feel. He began to understand that life offered various choices, each leading to a unique experience.
Finally, Jack tasted the third coffee, and it had a special taste that won him over. Suddenly, he got it: when life feels like a maze, you just need to keep trying new things and see things from different angles. Eventually, you'll find a way out.
Jack had a chat with the old man, and he started to feel better. He decided to approach life with a positive attitude, facing challenges with courage. He realized that as long as he tried, there'd always be a bright side waiting for him. The old man's friendly advice helped Jack break free from his rut, and his life was filled with hope and energy once again.
From Petals to Purpose: Discovering True Happiness
Once upon a time, there was a man who was feeling really down. He worked hard, but nobody seemed to appreciate his efforts at his workplace. Despite having a loving wife, her complaints often overshadowed her expressions of love and gratitude. One day, he wandered to a beautiful sea of blossoms for a walk, hoping the serene scenery might uplift his heavy heart.
In this place, there was a gardener taking care of all the pretty flowers. The flowers were all different colours, and butterflies were flying around them. The butterflies seemed to really like the flowers. The man came to this place looking sad. His troubled expression refusing to be brightened by the natural beauty around him. The gardener saw the man's sad face and asked, "What's bothering you?" The man shared his problems with the gardener.
Listening carefully, the gardener picked a few flowers and sat down. The man was curious, so he sat down too. The gardener took the petals off one flower and made tea out of them. Then, he took the petals from another flower, crushed them into red powder to create natural makeup. Lastly, he cut some branches and made them into herbal remedies.
The gardener then asked the man, "Do you understand now?"
The man realised that just like a flower can have different uses, people can also do different things to help others. The gardener elaborated that the flowers in the sea represented individuals, each possessing unique inherent beauty. Some flowers stood out with brilliant hues, attracting butterflies, symbolising those whose excellence and outstanding performance garnered attention and praise—akin to the butterflies' admiration.
But life isn't only about doing things well and getting praised. It resided in contributing oneself, even if recognition wasn't guaranteed. Like a flower used for tea, cosmetics, or medicine, which no longer attracted butterflies, growing up and stepping into the world demanded embracing the act of contributing without yearning for rewards or compliments. External validation, like chasing butterflies, would never satisfy the void within.
The lesson was simple but profound. The man comprehended that true fulfilment came from self-appreciation, self-encouragement, seeking inwardly rather than externally. Just as the flowers of the field each played distinct roles, individuals could find purpose by embracing their innate qualities and making meaningful contributions, regardless of whether they attracted the fleeting attention of external admiration.
As the sun set and painted the sky with beautiful colours, the man's heart felt lighter. The flower garden, which didn't change his mood at first, taught him an important lesson. He understood that feeling good about yourself and helping others were the true sources of happiness. With this new understanding, he left the flower garden with a brighter heart, ready to make a positive difference in the world, just like the flowers that brought beauty and joy to the garden.
The Liberation of the Heavy Baggage
In the heart of a vibrant and ancient woodland, there lived two extraordinary creatures, Alex the Bear and Leo the Lion. Alex carried a heavy burden, an enormous bag filled with the weight of his past regrets, worries, and lingering memories. Day after day, he walked heavily through the forest, his steps burdened and spirit weary.
One sunny morning, Alex encountered Leo, who was sitting serenely by a tranquil river, observing the ripples in the water. Concerned by Alex's sagging shoulders and tired expression, Leo approached him with kindness in his eyes.
"Alex," Leo said gently, "May I ask you to put down that heavy bag you're carrying? It seems to be weighing you down."
Alex hesitated for a moment, feeling reluctant to part with the baggage he had carried for so long. But he trusted Leo's wisdom and knew he had to listen. So, with a deep breath, Alex placed the heavy bag on the ground, feeling an immediate sense of relief in his soul.
"Now," Leo continued, "Let's put the bag on this table," pointing to a simple wooden table nearby. "This will allow us to face it directly and find the courage to open it."
Though apprehensive, Alex followed Leo's guidance and gently placed the bag on the table, its weight somehow seeming less oppressive in the open air.
"Now, Alex," Leo encouraged, "Open the bag. Let's see what's inside together."
With trembling paws, Alex reached for the bag's worn-out string and pulled it open. To his astonishment, a kaleidoscope of colourful fireflies emerged from the bag, filling the air around them with their mesmerising dance. The forest was decorated with their enchanting glow, casting a magical spell over Alex and Leo.
Tears welled up in Alex's eyes as he witnessed the beauty before him. Leo smiled warmly and said, "You see, my friend, by facing your fears and having the courage to open your heart, you have allowed the light to shine through. The fireflies represent the beauty and joy that were hidden beneath your heavy baggage all along."
Feeling a sense of liberation, Alex embraced Leo in a heartfelt hug. "Thank you," he whispered, "for showing me the way to free myself from the weight of my past. I never realised the beauty I was carrying within."
From that day on, Alex walked with a newfound lightness in his step. He let go of the heavy baggage he once carried, and in doing so, he opened himself to the wonders and possibilities that life had to offer.
As the tale of Alex and Leo's transformative encounter spread through the forest, it inspired many animals to examine their own burdens and fears. They, too, learned the importance of letting go, facing their emotions, and embracing the beauty that lay hidden within their hearts.
And so, the forest became a place of healing, growth, and liberation, all thanks to the profound friendship between Alex the Bear and Leo the Lion and the wisdom they shared with each other and the world around them.
The Feathers of Wisdom: Quest for True Freedom
Once upon a time, there was a man who was desperately seeking answers, so he went to seek guidance from a wise sage. His heart was filled with negative thoughts, and he felt deeply frustrated and sorrowful. The burden of negativity left him exhausted, and he lost his enthusiasm for life. In search of direction, he turned to the wise sage for help.
The man poured out his heart and asked the sage, "What's wrong with me? What should I do?"
In response, a feather gently floated down from the sky and landed in the man's open palm.
The sage asked, "Is it heavy?"
The man replied, "No, it's light."
Then, the sky filled with numerous feathers, descending like a soft waterfall.
The sage asked again, "Are they heavy?"
The man repeated, "No, they are light."
Next, the sage produced a pillow and placed it in the man's hands.
The sage asked once more, "Is it heavy?"
The man acknowledged, "Yes, it is heavy."
The man had an enlightening realization: the feathers symbolized thoughts, and there was no good or bad thoughts. When a thought emerged, all he needed to do was gently flick it away, and it would dissipate. However, if he held onto too many thoughts, clutching them tightly like a pillow, seeking comfort, and refusing to release them, they would become burdens he could not escape.
The key was to observe thoughts like feathers gracefully falling and then release them gently. Thoughts had power only if he clung to them, identified with them, and let them consume his mind. By resisting this attachment, he could liberate himself from the confines of his own thoughts.
He took control of his mind, free from the weight of thoughts, finding inner peace by embracing the present with a feather-light attitude. Guided by the sage's wisdom and the gentle feathers, he set forth on a journey towards fulfillment and freedom.
The Chessboard of Life
In a small village, there was a man who wanted to understand the meaning of life. People told him about a wise hermit living on the mountaintop who could help. So, he decided to find the hermit and ask for guidance.
After a long and difficult journey, he reached the top of the mountain and found the wise hermit sitting peacefully under an old tree. With respect, he asked, "O wise one, please tell me how to live my life and find meaning."
The hermit smiled kindly and motioned for the man to sit down. Instead of answering directly, the hermit took out a chessboard and started playing by himself. Move after move, he immersed himself in the game, showing great focus and determination.
The man watched in silence as the hermit completed the game. After putting away the chess pieces, the hermit looked at the man and asked, "What have you learned from this?"
Pondering over the hermit's actions, the man replied, "I learned that life is like a chessboard, and we are the players in this game. Just like you played the game alone, we are ultimately responsible for the moves we make in our lives."
The hermit nodded approvingly. "Exactly," he said. "Life is indeed a solitary journey, and each of us is responsible for our own moves. Just as in chess, we can't control the moves of others, but we can control our responses and choices."
The man felt a sense of enlightenment dawning upon him as he understood the hermit's wisdom. "So, what should be my approach to this game of life?" the man inquired.
The hermit replied, "Cherish the moments you have with others, but don't get too attached. People come and go in our lives, just like players in a game. When the game is over, they will move on. If you hold on tightly to them, you will be trapped in a never-ending cycle of attachment and suffering."
The man listened attentively, grateful for the profound lesson the hermit shared. From that moment on, the man decided to embrace life with a peaceful heart. He understood that he alone had the power to shape his journey. He would cherish the time spent with others and face each challenge with courage, knowing that life was a chessboard where he had to make the best moves he could. And when the time came to part ways with others, he would do so with grace, knowing that it was a part of the natural flow of life.
Filled with gratitude, the man thanked the wise hermit for his guidance. As he descended the mountain, he felt a newfound sense of clarity and purpose. He knew that life was a chessboard, and he was ready to play his part in this beautiful, ever-changing game.
